FAQ
Questions brokers ask us
How AuditPro works for food brokers: the field app, the dashboard, the reports, setup and pricing.
What is AuditPro?
AuditPro is shelf intelligence software for food brokers. Reps run store visits in an iOS app: they scan products, record prices, mark out-of-stocks and voids, take photos and complete tasks. The office sees each visit in a web dashboard and sends monthly reports to principals and chain buyers.
Who is AuditPro for?
Food brokerages whose reps call on grocery and retail stores for the brands they represent. Reps use the app in the aisle. Office staff and managers use the dashboard. Principals and chain buyers receive the reports.
What devices does the app run on?
iPhone and iPad running iOS 18.1 or later. Reps install AuditPro on their own device directly from the App Store. There is no Android app. The dashboard runs in any modern web browser.
Does the app work without cell signal?
Yes. Everything a rep does is saved on the device as they work. Finished visits upload in the background and keep retrying until they go through, even after the app is closed.
Which barcode scanners does it work with?
AuditPro works with any Koamtac Bluetooth barcode scanner, so you can choose the device that fits how your reps work. That includes the Magnetic Universal Adaptor (MUA) smart sled and any KDC scanner, including the wearables, which several customers use with great results. AuditPro doesn’t supply the scanners. Each scan opens the matching product, ready for a price and a stock status.
Can reps leave a printout for the store manager?
Yes. With a Bluetooth Zebra printer, the rep prints the store notes, out-of-stocks and voids before leaving the store. Any Bluetooth-enabled Zebra printer works. Mobile printers work best: the ZQ500 is portable and rugged, and the ZQ300 series is a lighter, more affordable option.
What do my principals receive?
A monthly packet per brand or per chain, as a PDF: stores observed, in-stock, out-of-stock and void rates, results by chain or state, product-level pricing, and the voids to follow up. You can also send photo decks (PowerPoint or a branded PDF) and Excel exports. Principals don’t log in to AuditPro: your team builds the reports in AuditPro or from the raw data exports and shares them with principals directly. More on principal reporting.
How do managers see what the team is doing?
The dashboard shows a live map of each rep’s latest check-in beside a feed of visits started, finished and uploaded. Managers choose how often it refreshes. Every visit is GPS-stamped at start and finish and shows its duration, first and last scan, and time to close.
How long does a store visit take?
In AuditPro store visit data, the median visit takes about 26 minutes, and half of all visits take 11 to 40 minutes. Reps check a median of 45 to 52 products per visit, about 30 seconds of visit time per product. In the current app, reps scan a product about every 15 seconds.
What does a typical visit find?
At a typical visit, 26% of the products a broker tracks aren’t on the shelf. Each visit flags about 17 issues on average: 6 out-of-stocks and 11 voids. AuditPro puts each one on a list for the store manager, the reorder call and your principals’ report. See the shelf data.
Can I get the data out?
Yes. Every table in the dashboard exports to Excel, either the rows on screen or everything that matches your filters, with UPCs kept intact. Reports download as PDF. Photos download as a zip, a PowerPoint deck or a branded PDF.
How do we get set up?
Setup is self-service in the web app: you add each chain’s stores, departments, products, reorder codes, and the tasks, ad notices and surveys reps should cover on each visit. You invite your team by email, and reps reset their own passwords. If you’d like help, we’ll gladly do bulk uploads, train your team and migrate your existing data.
How much does AuditPro cost?
AuditPro is priced per active rep per month. A rep is active in a calendar month when they publish visits to 3 or more stores; reps below that aren’t charged, so you pay only for reps working in the field. Book a 30-minute demo and we’ll quote for your team.
How long has AuditPro been around?
AuditPro is family-owned and has served food brokers since 2007. It was built for brokers and is still run by people who know the business.
